Based in Texas, Scissortail Jets is focused on serving the residents of Austin and Central Texas with a high level of personal service. We act as an independent charter broker, representing the client rather than any single operator, and arrange flights exclusively through FAA-certificated Part 135 operators.

Our charter process begins close to home. For clients flying to and from Austin and Central Texas, we start each search by matching missions with our preferred local operators. These are operators we know well and trust based on direct experience, operational standards, and consistency. When a mission requires broader availability or specific aircraft types, we then expand the search to the open charter market.

This local-first approach allows us to maintain quality control while delivering a more responsive and personalized charter experience.

Every charter mission is different. Before sourcing aircraft, we speak with clients to understand what matters most to them. This includes preferences around cabin comfort, aircraft size, schedule flexibility, familiarity with specific aircraft types, and how luxury is weighed against price sensitivity.

Some clients prioritize newer interiors and a higher level of onboard comfort. Others value efficiency, reliability, or long-standing operator relationships.
